Miami Beach Restaurants

We are constantly asked to recommend restaurants, which is a difficult task considering the vast differences in individual tastes and cultures. Many of  the 350-plus restaurants and lounges on Miami Beach are great. Of course, we think dining at the Sagamore is the best and certainly the shortest walking distance. The following are some of the choices that we, the staff, guests and members of the Sagamore, like the best.

South Beach Nightlife

South Beach is known for its vibrant nightlife and unique style. Our concierge can give you the inside scoop on the hottest places to go any night of the week, but here are some of our favorites:

Cameo
Long running venue on South Beach; younger crowd; industrial feel; electronic music’ House/Trance –infamous “Back Door Bamby” party on Mondays catering to eclectic locals crowd. 1445 Washington Ave.

Mansion
Biggest Nightclub in South Beach; part of the Opium Group, this spot is home to some of the most celebrated events in South Florida; huge stage, several rooms and a variety of special events and international DJ’s. Tues – Sun, 11pm - 5am. 1235 Washington Ave.

Mynt
Chic and sophisticated crowd mingles and dances in a loungy atmosphere; very “Miami” scene; House & Hip-Hop in different rooms. Wed – Sun, 11pm - 5am. 1921 Collins Ave.

Opium
Hot spot for the beautiful people; big indoor/outdoor nightclub; offering international DJ’s and special events; usually House & Hip-Hop; next to exclusive lounge/club “Prive”. Fri - Sun, 11pm - 5am. 136 Collins Ave.

Skybar @ Shoreclub
Glamorous gathering place for the hip & fashionable “South Beach Crowd”.
Garden: 7 days/wk, 4pm - 3am. Red Room: 7 days/wk, 7pm - 3am. 1901 Collins Ave.

Snatch & Suite
Rock ‘n Roll-type bar with a very cool, laid back South Beach crowd – all the fun without the usual attitude; great house music, beautiful people and some stargazing if you are lucky. Snatch: Mon – Sat, 11pm - 5am, closed Thur. Suite: Thur – Sat, 11pm - 5am. 1439 Washington Ave.
